- We started off the period with a review of the grammar concepts from homework. We reviewed pages 55-60 (nouns, pronouns, and verbs)
- We then reviewed MLA Format and page set-up. We walked through the step-by-step instructions to set up a Word Document in MLA format. Each student printed out his/her MLA format as proof of having learned this topic.
- I then shared some student samples of power point presentations for the Russian Revolution Research Project.
- The remaining part of the period was spent working on the research project.
- We ended the period with a review of the homework and I passed out the new homework calendar for the week.
- Homework: Grammar-Parts of Speech, pages 61-66 ood #'s only, work on the research assignment
