- We started the period with the final TKAM QUIZ-Chapters 29-31
- After the quiz, the students were introduced to the grammar concept of Direct Objects. The worked on pages 34-35 in the grammar binder.
- We then corrected the TKAM Quiz, and used the quiz as a discussion starter. We discussed the death of Mr. Ewell and Atticus' reaction to who he thought killed Mr. Ewell
- I reviewed the requirements and expectations of the service assignment, the reflective service essay and the final project. Students should gather artifacts from the service they perform-photos, videos, images, pamphlets, etc. to include in the power point presentation that will go with the final presentation.
- We continued through the Literary Analysis Packet. We reviewed the Grabbers, then we started practice with Focus Statements.
- Homework: Finish A Raisin in the Sun; finish the Reading Response Journal for A Raisin in the Sun; Write FOUR (Level 2 & 3) questions for the Socratic Seminar.

Comp/Lit 10: Debate - First Affirmative Constructive
- The students had the majority of the period to work on the First Affirmative Constructive.
- The First Affirmative Constructive was DUE @ 9:15.
- I ended the period by taking the students through a power point presentation about Ethos, Logos and Pathos. The students took notes and should apply this information to their debate presentation.
- Homework: Continue researching, work on Source Cards, read through the outline for the First Negative Constructive as well as the Student Sample of the Negative Constructive, Make-up Work and Grade Corrections are DUE by Thursday March 4.
